i have ad-aware , noaware, spybot , bazook , spyferret
and highjack this (do not know how to use the highjack
this) and run them all and they check up clean.

well this program ( i am trying to send screen shot)
shows all kinds of stuff).

my question is , should i purchase it to? or should
one of the others find it?

thanks

I just tried out the free XOFTSY download they have on their web site
http://www.paretologic.com/ .
First I ran Ad-aware and it found nothing on my system (100,000 objects
scanned). Then I ran the free scan from XOFTSY and it found 44 items in the
Registry, 4 Folders & 117 files (37,968 objects scanned). Of these, 111
items were for the WeatherBug, which I do use. It found 8 cookies, It found
33 registry items from Kazoom, Alexia & Winpup32 to TopPicks. There were 10
other registry items it wasn't sure about (unknown BHO). All in all it's
worth downloading the free scanner for a while and then decide to pay for
it.

Another program you can try is Winroot's Spy Sweeper. They
have a trial version that cleaned my machine at home after
I exhausted the spybot/adware and a host of others.

I have just tried the XOFTSY program and checked out all that it found
(only 5).
All that it flaged as a threat where legit files. Either from the immunize
funtion from spybot/spywareblaster or from the my firefox browser. Save your
$$$$ Ad-aware and spybot S&D are well known and work well.

Well I used to use adaware and spyboat, but after a REAL
spyware attak only spysweeper saved me from reformatting
my HDs!

I would recommend PestPatrol. We use a corporate version
ant its pretty awesome. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING HIJACK
THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING...fyi...

Looks a little as if it is licensed from PestPatrol much the way CA licenses
ZoneAlarm for EZ Armor.
