Spybot ?

What do you reckon about this item, and several like it, found by Spybot ?
I would have thought that XP updates would have covered this. The hyperlink
to a greymatter page refers to IE5.5 !

Can anyone in here advise off the top of their head or do I have to spend an
eternity reading up on this, when I would rather be working on my
photographs

Well, if you are religious about applying patches you are probably already
covered. The warning was issued in Feb/March 2002.

I am, and so hopefully I am, and thanx. ...though not too keen on 2 driver
updates MS keeps tempting me with, and which I accepted, ( thinking this
seems convenient! ), on one occasion that upset my machine. All in all it's
hugely time consuming trying to stay up to date, and informed regarding
security issues. While I find it interesting - I do like to try and find a
little time to run application programs to do some of the things things for
which PC's were invented !!

Hi,
I had the same thing come up with SpyBot. I let SpyBot take care of it, all
my updates were done also. So far no problems.
