SpyBot and Hot Bar

Hello everyone,
Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but I have a
friend that has Hot Bar and Bargain Buddy on her computer I have run
Ad-aware and SpyBot search and Destroy they will not get rid of Hot Bar or
Buddy.
Can someone help please. I know that there is a way to get rid of them. I
have done it before but cant remember.

Try running them again in safe mode. (Hit F8 a few times
when the computer starts to re-boot).
