bargain buddy

i hope the program will have something to get rid of or
stop bargain buddy. this pest is not recognize by most
programs. it was found by norton anti virus 2005 (not able
to remove). there is also a piece of gator and hot box
somewheres. saw it when spybot s&d did a scan. these are
nasty also. but i believe my firewall prevents any more
entries except for bargain buddy.
Pros: got rid of comet systems completely.
Cons: may interfere with my dsl connection at times.

Search for and download lspfix.exe
Get ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com
Reboot to Safe Mode
Run MSAS twice in Full Deep scan mode
Clean out your temporary files with ccleaner
Empty out your temporary internet files from IE
Run your antivirus in full scan mode
Reboot into Normal mode and check for any remaining bugs

You should be clean - if Internet now fails, run lspfix.exe to fix your lsp
layers.

If John's fix doesn't help then:

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
Scan and Save Log. Note where you saved the log then
send it to me as an attachment. I can probably tell you
what to do to get rid of it.
