Running Windows 2000 with an HL 1440 printer (i noticed
someone had this same problem earlier), every time i start
up i get a "spoolsv.exe has generated errors" warning. It
won't let me print, and no printers appear in my print
menu. When I click on Add Printer, nothing happens, and
the same goes for Server Properties.
I tried the solution posted on Microsoft's website, and
repeated by Bill Peele earlier in this newsgroup, but to
no avail. It is possible that i don't receive the
spoolsv.exe error....i don't think it popped up last time
i re-booted; however, the problems with printing and the
printer setup folder still remain, keeping me just as
helpless. What further steps are recommended?
