Lexmark install a special service which doesn't uninstall well... disconnect
the printer from the PC and follow Bruce Sanderson's instructions on his
page to COMPLETELY uninstall the unit. http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm
Pay particular attention to his special section on Lexmark units at the
bottom of the page.
After the cleanup, reboot. Do NOT reconnect the printer to the PC.
Download a new set of driver software from www.lexmark.com and install it.
Do NOT reconnect the printer until the software tells you to do so.
