spooler subsystem app

I do not have a printer connected to my computer, but my
computer stops responding. I get the error message:
"Spooler Subsystem APP has encountered a problem and
needs to close."
Under that it says,
"szAppVer: 5.102600.0
szAppName: spoolsv.exe

How can I fix this problem? It does this constantly
(stops responding)
