Spooler Aborts

I have two networked printers from HP. When I was fixing a problem with one,
I reinstalled the printer dirvers. The second one is a networked LaserJet 4
Plus. I now discover that Windows seems to think that there is one document
queued to it, but nothing shows when I display the queue. When trying to
print the spooler aborts. I tried deleting the printer and reinstalling it,
but the problem occurs even while restarting Windows where the spooler aborts
twice. I've searched the KB to no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks for your response. I don't have any reason to believe that the HP
LaserJet 4+ driver is deffective. Isn't there simply a way to clean up its
mistaken belief that there is a pending document without having to delete
everything?
