Spellchecker changes in text messages don't stick. A bug?

In Outlook 2007, in only text messages, spell check changes are lost when the
Send button is clicked. This does not happen with html messages.

Any ideas?
 
It's a known issue which we hope to be fixed in SP1. A manual spell check
will work though.
