Bug Outlook 2007? Spell Check Plain Text Messages

This may be a bug, but if I hve my message format set as Text and use the
spell check every message before I send option, the spell checker goes
through the motions but when the message is sent, the corrections are not
saved.

If I use the right click options as I compose the message and change the
spellings, the corrections are saved.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Derek

I have exactly the same problem. WindowsXP Home and Outlook2007. I'm
also using the "Plain Text" format, and despite the automatic spell
check that runs just after sending the mail, and then fixing all the
mistakes, none of the changes stick.

Very, very frustrating.

Yes, I'm having the same problem with the plain text mode. The spell checker
works correctly when i use HTML or Rich Text mode. Not a fix certainly, and
definitely frustrating!

it’s a bug - if Microsoft is not aware of it already, they will be in the
morning.

Corrections made prior to sending stick - so get in the habit of using F7
before hitting send.
