Spell check problem

B

Boston word

Word 2007- The automatic spell check is not working for a particular
document. When I run spell check from the review menu I get no spelling or
grammar corrections - only a message that says flagged text was not spell
checked.

How do I correct this problem

Ctrl+A to select the entire document and then go to Review | Set Language
and make sure that the "Do not check spelling or grammar box" is completely
clear (you may have to click it twice to clear it).

Select all (CTRL+A) then click 'Language' on the review toolbar (or on the
Word status bar) and uncheck 'do not check spelling' or grammar.

Thank you for your assistance, I did try your suggestion and it still will
not check text for spelling and grammar. I also went to word options and hit
the recheck spelling button and still nothing happened. Any other
suggestions?

Check if the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Override" exists and if it does delete it.

If that is not the problem

Office Button >Word Options > Add Ins > Manage (select disabled items) >
Click on the English dictionary and re-enable it.
Close and re-open Word and Outlook.
