Why do I get the error message, "there is not enough memory or disc space to
run the grammar check" when I try to use spell check?

Hi Jennifer-

That message usually means exactly that. How much RAM does your system have
and how many other programs are running at the time? What is the conditiion
of your hard drive... is there at least 20% of its capacity free & has the
drive been defragmented recently?

Also, is the file stored on your hard drive in the first place? If it is on
a floppy or some other type of removable media, that is the problem. Never
work from floppies, CDs, UB Drives, etc. Copy/move the file to your hard
drive & work with that copy of the file. If necessary, copy it back to the
removable when done.

Thank you. I'm not sure how to fix the problem. I recently had a new hard
drive installed after my hard drive crashed. I'm guessing that the problem
with the spell check is related to the installation of the new hard drive.
Do you think this is the case? Do you have any suggestions on what I can do?
I was going to try to reinstall Microsoft office, but unfortunately, I no
longer have the CD-ROM!
Thanks for your help.

My first inclination was to advise you to make sure you'd cleaned out all the
temp files in the document and template folders. If you don't have the CD, how
did you get Office installed on this new hard-drive?
