Hello!!

Should this be a speedy computer.. All-In-One Desktop PC - AMD Athlon II X2
250U 1.6GHz, 4GB DDR2, 640GB HDD, DVDRW, Radeon HD4530, TV Tuner, 20"
Widescreen LCD, Windows 7 Home Premium..Thanks,Nicolino

1.6Ghz seems a bit slow these days.

but it will probably appear speedy depending on how much extra garbage is loaded on it by manufacturer.

1.6GHZ is slow by most standards today.

Windows 7 makes 1.6Ghz seem slower.

The regular Athlon II X2 250 runs at 3GHz.

The processor in your all-in-one, is the 250u, and it runs at 1.6GHs.
It only uses 25W, which makes cooling an all-in-one that much easier.
So that is part of the reason for the slightly slow processor.

They use a similar processor in one of the new netbooks (the MV-40).
The MV-40 uses 15W, but has less cache than the 250u.
