Is it worth it?

I'm looking at a couple of retailers for my new machine and quite a few are offering smaller hardrives with faster spin/seek times - does it make that much of a difference for gaming? I don't game over the internet at all.

I already have a 200gb sata drive and a 250gb external hard drive, so general storage space (pics, films, whatnot) is not an issue.

Faster drives will speed up systems if all the rest of thecomponents are up to scratch , marginaly . Quick reflexes , supple fingers and wrists coupled with an active mind are your best bet and cheaper .

Aint worth the price premium that faster spindle drives have. when i comes to games, you more than likely wont see any difference.
