I have cable internet and XP Home, SP1. I would like to know what site has
the best info on tweaking your registry to get the most speed out of a
connection.

TIA

Be sure to read the cable TOS, some tweaks can get you
kicked off the cable. Also, if a bunch of people try to get
more than their "share" of the bandwidth, the company will
cap the service, negating your tweaks.

I wouldn't bother with any of that man.. you will make your connection
worse. Remember, in most cases when you are on the internet you are
connecting on the other end to a windows box.. you make changes like this it
will ultimately make your connections worse not better. All these modem
tweak things are a bad thing in most cases, for 2 connections that are good
you'll have many more bad ones.. the best settings for your cable modem are
the default ones windows comes with...

Have you ever known anybody to get kicked off cable?

Yes and the RR capped the service for everybody else.
