Speech Recognition

I am still running Windows XP Home ed. and MS - Office 2000
I have speech recognition porgram, Dragon Speak 3.52, an earlier version of
Naturally Speaking. I cannot get it to load correctly in Windows XP. It
worked fine under previous Windows versions. I don't think Windows XP or
Office 2000 have speech recognition. Does anyone have experience with this
problem ? Is there a solution/fix ?

Earlier is right, current version is 9. according to this page, even version
5 had issues with XP:

http://www.dragontalk.com/index.html

A link on that page had a /possible/ fix for version 5 on XP:

http://www.dragontalk.com/DNS XP Solution.html

may or may not work for v3.52.
Have you tried any "compatibility" adjustment (rt.click the "exe" file >
properties >compatibility > drop down arrow)
