Specified Path does not exist !

HI,

I am using IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2 with update versions
sp1,Q818529,Q822925,

1) when i am using the IE the address bar says "Enter Key
word or web address here" and when i click on it it shows
the URL . Some one has any idea on how to see only the URL.

2) When i use yahoo messenger and try to excess user
profile by right clicking on the name it says the
specified path does not exist.Also, The path name contains
weird characters when i am visiting websites . Can
somebody throw some light on how to solve the problem.
