Does anyone know the shortcut on how to place an accent mark over a letter?
 
To display an accent over a letter such as french text you need to got to INSERT then SYMBOL...the SYMBOL dialogue box appears, next choose a font (not wingdings) scroll down the bar on the right hand side of the dialogue box about 3/4 and you will see letters with accents above them. Ensure your cursor is at the point where u want the accented text to be placed and simply click on INSERT. then close the SYMBOL dialogue box.
 
If you want an acute accent. There are other setup keys for other accents.
