Speakers have an Echo effect.

Anyone know why, or how to stop my speakers from sounding
like they have an echo. This happens with all windows
sounds and all music.

Aside from uninstalling your current drivers, and
reinstalling new drivers/updating to the newest drivers I
couldn't help you. Sorry I had that effect too, but
only in a game... it was to do with EAX. (Creative Sound)

Look in the sound mixer for any effects settings. Might have to hit
Options or some such thing to find it. Every sound card software
installs it's own sound mixer program (it is not a Windows supplied
program), so how to get at the settings varies.
