Speaker trouble

I recently restored my computer.. Now my speakers aren't working and I can't
figure out how to get them to work. I have went through all the steps it says
to fix this, but nothing is working. What do I do?

Did you install the drivers for your sound card??/


Also check the volume control...it may simply be set to mute
