I have recently been plagued with the same 5 uninvited websites being added to my list of favorites. I delete them everytime I startup the IE, but they are back the next time I have to start up. Also, my home page gets changed along with this at each start-up to an ininvited site. I have had to go to tools and reset the home page. I use Adware and Spybot for cleaning the system, and although they clean up each time, the effect is temporary until the next start-up
Any ideas on how I might go about removing this intrusion
Thnx

get 'hijack this' a free scanning program, then post your
hijack this log to the hijack this forum for help, read
the readme post pinned at the top of the forum before
posting and follow instructions exactly or you probably
won't get help, they are very helpful, when you follow
their protocol.
Hope this helps...

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
