Spacing Issues with my Signature (Outlook 2003)

I have tried several different times to edit a signature within the outlook
editor as well as the word editior. When the signature is complete, the
spacing looks great, but when I open an new e-mail the signature is spaced
completely wrong, any ideas?

I have the same problem and every time I have to use the paragraph > space
after option to remove the extra spacing.

I tried the solution Microsoft offered and it has become worse. Now one word
is on the left and the other is at the right end.

As I wrote earlier, when I tried Shift+Enter, my signature alignment became
Justified and the spacing continued to be double in Outlook E-mails, although
in Word (using Advanced Edit) it showed Left Justification and Single
spacing. What really solved my problem was changing the format of my messages
to Rich Text format in place of HTML, in Tools > Options > Mail Format >
Compose in this message format.
