Spacing between lines

I keep coming across this, double spacing when it's on single spacing on the
line spacing option. Any help grately appreciated, really annoying!
 
Check the paragraph formatting of the style in use when you encounter this,
there might be a space between lines setting in the style.
 
Double-check to make sure you don't have any spacing before or after set: go
to Format --> Paragraph > in the bottom section of that screen (right above
the preview) is a line spacing section... you should have 0 pts in both the
Spacing Before & Spacing After boxes, and the line spacing should be single.
