space problem between the words

i accidently pressed alt and some random number and now all the letters that
i type appears like t h i s . how can i get rid of it?
 
Try this:
Go to Format> Font> Character Spacing Tab>
Is "Expanded" selected for the "Spacing" menu? If so, change it back to
"Normal".
