SP4 & Minolta PagePro printer -- CONFLICT

After loading service pack 4, I was no longer able to
access this printer. Printing, viewing properties, etc.
caused a hard reboot!!! After removing SP4, I again have
full printer functions.

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH SP4?? Can we no longer trust
Microsoft downloads?

i just posted something about this in the win200.printing group...

according to QMS support, it is a problem introduced with SP4 that affects
*all* GDI printers. QMS is not planning to do anything about it.

please advise if you find a solution,
