SP4 deployment on Win2K & WinXP mixed network

I am testing the software deployment using GPO for Win2k
SP4. The SP4 has been deployed and installed suceesfully
onto my test pc so far everything working great.

Here is my questions...

My company has about 700 workstations and consist of
WinXP and Win2k workstations in 50/50 ratio in a
single OU i have created. How can I effectively to
deploy Win2k SP4 to all the Win2k workstations without
affecting other XP workstations? Will SP4 only be
installed and accepted on Win2k (not XP)?

create a new OU and put 1 2k box in it and 1 XP box in it. Apply your GPO
to that OU and see what happens!

SP4 msi should only install on W2k. To be sure, you could try with couple of
machines that apply to your setup before deploying to all machines.
