SP3

I recently added SP3 to my computer and then I started having problems. When
I use the same key twice my computer hangs up and will not display the second
letter unless I deliberately pause. I was instructed to remove the Windows XP
Professional Program because the SP3 cannot be removed by itself. I have
since removed SP3 by using the Control Panel and removing the Windows XP
Professional Program and then reinstalling the Windows XP Professional
Program. However, this has not resolved this issue. Please advise how I can
resolve this issue. I am not experience at using a computer, so please make
your proposed resolution very clear. Thank you.

SP3 for what?

SP3 for Windows XP is only in pre-beta. If you installed Windows XP SP3
pre-beta onto your production system without heeding the warnings you would
have been given had you gotten it legitimately - well, for lack of a better
way of putting it - that was dumb. Windows XP SP3 pre-beta is *not* meant
for public consumption and should *not* be put on production machines unless
you are just ready to format later.

If you mean some other SP3 - Office of some unknown version, etc - please
state so and then you mkay wish to post your query in a more appropriate
place (an Office newsgroup) as you will find those more able to help you
with said products there.

Windows XP professional is a Operating System...without it your computer
will NOT run and it cannot be removed under Control Panel/Add&Remove.
Windows Office Professional is a high end suite of products that run under
XP Pro....that definitly had a SP3 out to fix some problems.
With your admitted lack of knowledge about computers I suggest you seek
expert local advice.

You are correct, except under certain conditions - Windows XP Professional
*can* be removed from the Add or Remove Programs control panel...

How to uninstall Windows XP and revert to a previous operating system

Since we do not know the particulars - we cannot be sure in this case. ;-)
