SP3 RC2 Installation Fails

Trying to install SP3 onto a test machine and am getting an error
"The file msmsgs.exe is missing from the Service Pack 3 installation."

Tried downloading the installation files a couple of times and have tried to
collect via windows update but always getting the same message.
 
Found the problem.
McAfee AV was configured to remove msmsgs.exe on creation so install could
never find the file.

Switched off McAfee for duration of install.
