Hi

I am on SR1. I want to install sp3 but am worried that outlook will
completely block certain types of attachments without giving an option to
save them on disk. Are my fears justified or is there a way out?

Are you referring to Windows 2000 SP3? If so, there is no impact on the
block list of Outlook 2002. There is no Office XP SP3. The latest service
pack for Office XP is SP2. In Office XP SP2, the Outlook attachment block
list is updated. Some of the previously blocked types are now unblocked. For
more information, please check Microsoft website.

In that case my workaround is still good!
