This is complete and utter rubbish. You can slipstream direct from

SP0. Try it before you

If you slipstream SP3 into SP0, you won't be able to use the nifty
feature in SP3 that allows you to bypass having to enter the PID. Sure
you CAN take a Gold XP CD and slipstream to SP3, but why would you
want to lose a feature?
