SP3 Disables Wi-Fi connection.

Recently SP3 was installed on my system via updates. It installed with no
errors, but it disabled my Wi-Fi connection. On the command line, ipconfig
returns "Media Disconnected." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the
card's drivers, and even did a repair-reinstall of XP. Nothing.

I don't remember any previous update disabling my connection, though one did
interfere with syncing my MP3 player. Any ideas on how to get my connection
back?

NOTE: This post is being done on a 98SE machine. Right now, I'm
considering removing SP3.
