Loaded up SP2, now unable to get anything better than 4
bit resolution on my screen. Windows XP help is useless as
it suggests going to an area that doesn't exist"! Anyone
got any ideas as I'm rapidly losing patience....

download the latest version of the graphics adapter driver from
its manufacturer, uninstall the old one, reboot, then install
the new one.

Thanks for that. It's a card that's built in to the
motherboard, but I'll give it a try.
