I have had a lot of problems installing SP2 on my
computer, including the fact that after downloading and
installing correctly, after rebooting, my computer went
hywire.
I lost most of it's dial up networking services, it would
not let me make back-up's, it would not recognize CD's in
my CD rom drive and would not recognize my Office Suite.
After consultations with MS technical services, I have
had to install a parallel Windows XP system on my hard
disk, which has resolved most of the problems, including
my broadband connection. The only problem I have now is
how to transit my Windows Office XP suite to the new
folder that I have had to create.
I have tried installing from the original Office CD that
I have, but I get a message saying that Office cannot
find any product installed to update. I only have the
update CD available.
Any suggestions?
