SP2 update - not showing icon

I got the Automatic Update notification yesterday that I
can download SP2. I clicked on everything to start the
download, and left my computer running with the internet
connected all day yesterday, and since this morning, but I
am not getting the familiar icon in my taskbar saying that
it is downloading anything. Am I supposed to have the
icon? Does the download take this long, or I am staying
connected and off the internet for nothing? My computer
connects with DSL. Thanks, Donna

I got tired of waiting for the update icon, and went into
Automatic Update, and finally got the actual install for
SP2. Now I have the icon saying how much is actually
downloaded. Thanks to anyone who would have answered, but
I am SURE that I will be back again with more questions.
