SP2 start menu right click bug

I installed windows xp sp2 today, and after it completed,
everything seemed fine until i tried to right click an
item in the start menu and the quick launch. everytime i
try to, for example, right click a shortcut in the quick
launch and start menu, i receive a crash in explorer.exe
and it has to shutdown explorer and restart it. the crash
says
"explorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0133415b" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"

the numbers seem to change each time i right click. is
this a known bug? If anyone has any idea whats going on
or can relay this to microsoft, it would be greatly
appreciated.

Apparently SP2 has changed the path for executing the
items in the task bar, right click on one of them and see
if the path to that item exists, you can easily rewrite
the executable path and fix that, I would also agree that
in time many of us will face all types of major and minor
issues.

here's one example for lets say Ad Aware:

"C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-aware 6\Ad-aware.exe"

This goes into the target box, so check yours.

I haven't experienced this.

.
It was Divx ver. 5.2 I got all the info on it. Funny how
such a small thing can be such a pain in the behind.
Thanks for responding.

Was this problem with any or all shorcuts, or just one pertaining to DivX?
Since I have DivX 5.2 installed as well and am looking at installing SP2,
what info have you seen?
