SP2 Slipstream or Update Install?

How do I determine if a system has had a SP2 slipstream install or has been
updated to SP2?

If SP2 was slipstreamed into Windows XP, there would be
no listing for it in the Add or Remove Programs applet in
the Control Panel.

Hello,
Additional indicators would be.
If slipstreamed:
svcpack.log is not present.
Setupapi.log would contain an instance for the installation of the service
pack.
There is no \Windows\$Ntservicepack$ uninstall folder
There is no \Windows\Servicepackfiles folder.
If update.exe was used, the above would be true, plus.
The System Event Log would contain an Event ID 4371 from Source
Ntservicepack reporting successfull installation if the service pack was
installed.

There are more indicators.
