SP2 Security Center shows active Firewall and Virus Program as Security Satatus Unknown

Running

Windows XP Home on a Compaq XL918

Zone Alarm free edition latest version 5.5.062.004

Norton Antivirus 2005 with latest updates

XP2 Security Center icon in task bar flashes a flag saying security status
unknown for Firewall and Antivirus.

The two questioned programs are running and responding.

SP2 shows Zone Alarm running but does not show green signal light. When I
enable the XP fire wall the Security Center green signal light lights but
your not encourage to run two firewalls.

Norton Anti Virus 2005 is up and running and updated to the latest version.
But XP2 Security Center shows Norton Antivirus reports that its installed ,
but its status is unknown. .

My other home built computer shows green coverage for both Zone Alarm and an
earlier version 2004 of Norton Antivirus.

Any Ideas?

Don't worry about it. If you know your av and firewall are working, then
just go to the Security Center applet in Control Panel and click on
"Change how Security Center alerts me". Uncheck the alerts for av and
firewall. Just because Security Center doesn't recognize these programs
(and I don't know why it doesn't), doesn't mean the programs aren't
working.

In Norton AV 2005 there is a setting to notify windows of AV status. It
comes up when you install, not sure where it is after install.

In ZAPro ver 5.***** there is a setting on Firewall/Main/Advanced to switch
OFF XP Firewall.
