UnAuthorized use of Internet??

Joe

I am running WinXP Pro SP2,
Zone Alarm Security Suite version 5.1,
McAfee Security Center Anti-Virus version 7.2 and
Spyware Doctor version 4.

Recently I have noticed the ZoneAlarm indicator show nearly constant
internet traffic and I don't know just what could be causing it.

Is there anyway to identify the program that is accessing the
internet??

Doesn't Zone Alarm have any logs you can examine?

Yes but either everything I recognize looks reasonable, or if I get
too detailed, I don't recognize anything.

I have gone through under ZoneAlarm and set every program under
Program Control to 'ask' for access and did not notice any difference.

Hi
Log here,
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/Networking/TcpView.mspx ,
download TcpView and run it.
TcpView would show what is the nature of the traffic if it created by the
computer that TcpView is running on.
Howvever if you have unsecured Wireless connection, it might be that someone
else is using your connection.
In such a case your computer would not show any thing concerning the
unwanted traffic.

Thank you all.

I was able to trace it back one of the programs installed when I added
my new HP all-in-one printer. It wasn't sending much but was keeping
everything alive showing as an active connection.
