SP2 RC2 Windows Update Quit Working

I had RC1 and noticed that RC2 was available and made the
mistake of downloading it. Now windows update won't work.
It gets as far as the Express or Custom but when I make a
choice, it chugs along for awhile with the busy bar
crawling and finally comes up with a non-descript error
reference can't reach page. I tried all the fixes,
automatic and manual that were listed on the website but
they weren't specifically for SP2. Hopefully the official
SP2 willl fix the problem but of course, I can't "Windows
Update" it. Thanks

So uninstall RC2 RC? (1 or 2).

Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall RC-2.
Then when ready install SP-2:
