SP2 PROBLEMS

I am running an emachines W1500 (40 GB) from a dial up modem. Since I down
loaded SP2, my CD reader will not function correctly. Prior to the SP2
download it read and wrote just fine. Did I miss a step in the install of
SP2??

Hi

Try this:

Uninstall the CD drive from Device Mananger, reboot and let Windows
re-detect it.
