SP2 problems

I installed SP2 on a computer at one of my client sites, during the
install, it looks like the computer rebooted and the install did not
complete. I am getting the message to uninstall SP2, but when I try I get
the message can't find the specified file. I tried to uninstall in safe
mode, but that does not work. I tried to re-install SP2, but to no avail.
Anyone have a solution for this problem!

Thank you in advance!

Use a Service Pack 2 XP CD-ROM or slipstream one and then do
a Repair install on the errant upgrade. If you have imaging capability
I'd take one on the system before doing the Repair. SP2 generally
requires a Malware free system to ensure completion. Not sure if
that applies here but a cursory check with Spyware detection tools
before applying the SP and a Read-Only Chkdsk run is also a good
prep operation.
