SP2 firewall

Hi,

How good is the firewall with the SP2 update? I don't see it asking to
give permission when a program is launched to access the internet. I
was using Zone Alarm before the update and think I want to go back. At
least I knew what was and was not authorized access to the internet.

Hi,

The SP2 firewall, like its predecessor, only blocks incoming traffic. It
does not monitor outgoing traffic. What it does, it does quite well.

the xp firewall is a joke.
keep any other firewall and kill the xp firewall
all it does in reallity is stop both of the bill gates
worms from infecting an unpatched machine.
