Windows Firewall

I have Zone Alarm on my system. Zone Alarm sometimes slows down my internet
speed. Is there a way to use the firewall program in WinXP to operate much
like Zone Alarm?

i had zone alarm too. but went back to windows firewall. what i noticed was
that windows firewall was getting ports added to it and i wasn't sure why. i
discovered that the win firewall had "restore defaults" option and would
remove the excess ports. then i discovered that by setting it on and with no
exceptions, i could still go into the net. i regularly check the defaul
settings and ensure that they are restored. i think between the win firewall
and win defender, i havn't been attacked....knock on wood...
