SP2 disables CD drive

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Iomega 650 CD RW
drive and it still won't work under XP's SP2.
 
Could be also a permission issue
Click Start
Click Run
enter gpedit.msc
navigate to
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\LocalPolicies\SecurityOptions
select security-right called
"Devices: Restrict CD-ROM access to Localy Logged on user only"
set this to disabled. try again. This will update a registry entry.
