SP2 and network connections

My view network connections do not show my lan any more. The internet
gateway is there. All appears to be working OK but will not allow me to
configure anything. My network card has been renamed to Intel Pro/100ve
network connection - packet scheduler and a driver psched.sys has been
installed. I cannot uninstall it in device manager as it come up with
message about being needed to boot system.

I am not using windows firewall as my router has hardware one.

Any ideas anyone
 
I eventually did a clean install and the problem was
solved. However then it would not activate over the
internet and I had to do it by phone. Hopefully it was
just the server having a problem.
