SP2 and Internet Explorer 6

Please can somebody help me? I downloaded and installed the SP2 update and
when the computer restarted my internet explorer icon on my desk top had
disappeared and now i can not find it. Can somebody tell me where it has gone
and how i can get it back please?

Hi

Try this:

Right click on the Desktop, select Properties and then the Desktop tab and
'Customise Desktop...'. Make sure that 'Internet Explorer' is enabled. OK
your way out.

If you Go Into MyComputer--> C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer there
should be an iexplore.exe...right click it and select "create
shortcut." This should restore an icon from which to Launc it.

Thank you for your help. I have tried to download and install an update for
ie 6 but when installing it said that i needed to have ie6 on my computer. It
no longer appears on my add/remove programs.
