SP2 Access Denied

I'm having same problem as lots ofother people. Have tried the procedure in
MS KB 873148. I was able to locate and reset permissions for
HKCR\vnd.ms.radio, but there are other subkeys which are also causing a
problem - several Direct8 keys. When I right click on them, I am not allowed
to access them.(I am logged in as Administrator) I have tried installing SP2
several times with same result. Does anyone know how I can solve the problem
of these registry keys?

Some Keys/Values are restricted. You have to add your current
Username to the permissions table and then grant yourself Full
Control.
Right Click a Key Name, take the Permissions context option.
Click the Add Button - enter your username
In the Permissions box, Click Full Control & Click Apply
Afterwards, you will be authorized to remove the Key.
