It is actually working fine on my machine also, with a slight exception
which, I am assured, has already been 'fixed' in the current internal
builds.

The slight exception being unable to view the hard drive graphics in
computer management but, as I said in my original post this has now been
fixed.

That is true. But the good news is, even the RC1 is already excellent. I
have been using it ever since RC1 was released without the slightest
problem. Of course, some people are dying to have problems with it.
Especially - and here is the weird part - people who don't run Vista.

I run Vista Home Premium 32bit on my older computer it was having
problems with an ATI video card driver. I decided to install SP1 RC
hoping it would fix that problem. SP1 RC installed easily and
everything seemed to be working properly but the ATI video card
driver. I decided to re-format drive C: and re-installed the
operating system again. When I finished that I discovered that ATI
had a hotfix out for my problem and everything is working properly
now.

I would install the SP1 RC update again but it needs to be uninstalled
when the real thing comes out, so why bother?

It is interesting that people having most trouble with
Vista use only other OS. Why do they corrupt this
discussion with missionary work?

A study in sociology, I think.
