Sp Message Window

I have mild problems using chat software (like msn or eyeball) and eventually
the comp has to be rebooted. Each time, it appears that the 'frozen' thing
is SP Message window as that is shown as not responding on shutdown and has
to be closed separately.

I assume it's a corrupted file

How do I get hold of an uncorrupted version and install it?
 
I would guess you will need to turn off 'popup blocking" in IE, tools menu
