SP2 installed. Every boot (till I turned it off) says
there is a known compatibility issue with SP2 and my MS BB
networking software. Its the same software that came with
the MSN500 wireless router. So far, the router is working.
I've yet to use the wireless segment of my network yet and
I've also downloaded the 13mb file from MS's BBN page but
have not installed it as I fear I may be digging me a
hole. I did a quick search but not a very good one to see
what I could find on this issue. Nothing found. Regards.

All the MSBB software does is allow configuration and firmware upgrades to
the device in a user-friendly manner. Installing the software will have no
effect on your router.

Uninstall the software. If you need to change settings on the MN500,
you can do so from a web browser at http://192.168.2.1

If you decide to use a MS wireless card, install the new drivers
package which has all the SP2 compatible bits, then uninstall the BNU
utility, which you still don't need.
